Members providing communications were W9HRZ Stu, WA9RXR Rich, KC9JBC Joe and K9EOH Jim. Stu was stationed at the start/finish line, Jim was stationed at the one mile watering station, Rich was stationed at the two mile watering station and Joe was stationed in position to direct traffic so runners would be facing the traffic. After the last runner passed the first watering station, Jim followed them around the course to inform the officials and workers of their position. He also picked up one runner for a few miles who was having a walking problem.
