Owen County Radio Amateurs Assist With County Siren Test
Next Test Friday November 4th at Noon
At noon on the first Friday of each month, if there is no inclement weather,
the Owen County radio amateurs assist in the testing of the eleven severe weather
warning sirens. Amateurs station their mobile equipment at each site and report
to the EMA director Jack White KC9OQK the results of the test via the Spencer 146.985 MHz repeater. (136.5 Hz CCTSS tone) or if the Spencer repeater
is not available, the results will be relayed via the Gosport 146.895 MHz repeater (136.5 Hz CCTSS
tone.)
