Owen County Amature Radio Association supports Spencer Repeater
Weekly nets held on KB9MZZ or KB9SGN Repeater
The Owen County Amateur Radio Association supports the KB9MZZ repeater
(146.985Mhz with a tone of 136.5 Hz) for use by any amateur operator.
A weekly Wednesday night ARES net is conducted at 7:00 PM Eastern Time.
On the first Wednesday, the
KB9SGN Gosport repeater (146.895MHz with a tone of 136.5 Hz) is used. This repeater is the
backup system for the Spencer repeater. If both are down the simplex frequency of 146.580 MHz
will be used.
The KB9MZZ Spencer repeater is used all other Wednesdays.
The purpose of the net is to handle traffic, bulletins and
information of interest to the local amateur community. All amateur operators
are welcomed and encouraged to participate.
